The latest update following recent reports about Fusion Fibre Group.
We are aware of recent reports in the press concerning a winding-up petition involving Fusion Fibre Group and HMRC, and we want to provide some clarity and reassurance directly to our customers, partners and communities.
The petition arose from an administrative matter which we have been working directly with HMRC to resolve. We are pleased to confirm that the matter is now fully resolved and the winding-up petition has been completely withdrawn.
Some reports appeared in the press before Fusion Fibre Group had been approached for comment or given an opportunity to respond and provide the wider context. Our priority was to work directly with HMRC, establish the position fully and resolve the matter before commenting publicly.
We can now confirm that Fusion Fibre Group has continued to operate as normal throughout, and it remains very much business as usual.
Our position within the industry, our ambitions and our commitment to the UK full fibre sector have not changed. We're continuing our mission to connect homes and businesses across the UK with ultrafast, reliable full fibre broadband.
