How Does Switch Credit Work?

Everything you need to know about Switch Credit.

Switch Connect is designed to help you make the move without the wait.

It allows you to get connected to Fusion Fibre Group’s ultrafast, ultra-reliable Full Fibre service now, even if your current contract is still running.

If you're eligible, we’ll apply a Switch Credit to your Fusion Fibre account – a credit that helps offset the remaining value of your existing broadband agreement.

It’s our way of helping you switch over smoothly and start enjoying the speeds you deserve, sooner rather than later.

What’s Switch Credit?

If you’re moving to Fusion Fibre but still have time left on your existing broadband contract, we may apply a Switch Credit to your account to help with any early termination costs from your previous provider.

It’s simple, quick, and applied before your first Fusion Fibre bill – so you’ll benefit straight away.

There’s no cash alternative, and the credit can’t be transferred or refunded if unused.

Am I Eligible?

You could qualify for a Switch Credit if:

  • You’ve chosen a 24-month Full Fibre plan
  • You’ve already placed your order online or through one of our sales agents
  • You’ve submitted your claim with proof of your current provider’s contract
  • This offer can’t be used alongside any other promotions.

How to Claim

  1. Place your Fusion Fibre order online or with a Sales Agent
  2. Complete our Switch Credit claim form.
  3. Upload a copy of your existing broadband contract, showing your contract end date

We'll review your submission within 7 working days and confirm the outcome by email.

Do I Need to Cancel My Current Provider?

That’s completely up to you.

As part of your order, you’ll be asked if you want Fusion Fibre to cancel your existing broadband on your behalf – this is called One Touch Switch. Or, if you’d prefer to keep your current provider running alongside Fusion Fibre (depending on network compatibility), that’s often possible too.

For example:

  • If we’ve built our own network in your area and your current provider uses a different one (like Sky), both services can run at the same time.
  • If both providers use the same underlying network (like CityFibre), you may need to cancel one to activate the other.

Don’t worry, if it sounds a little confusing our friendly sales agent can help guide you through what’s possible at your address.

Good to Know

  • Switch Credit is an account credit only – there is no cash alternative
  • Credit is applied before your first Fusion Fibre bill
  • If you cancel your Fusion Fibre service with unused Switch Credit, it cannot be refunded or carried over
